Blue Marlin Signature Catering Invited to Cater Lunch at the US Capitol

Senator Lindsey Graham, Republican Senator from South Carolina, invited Blue Marlin Signature Catering to prepare and serve "South Carolina Cuisine" to his Republican colleagues when he hosted a luncheon at the US Capitol Senate Dining Room on July 9, 2009. Bill Dukes, Owner of Blue Marlin and Signature Catering and Brian Dukes, Executive Chef and General Manager of Blue Marlin were invited to work with the Senate Dining Room culinary team and cater the menu for this special event. They used as much SC local product as possible. The Senators were served Lowcountry Shrimp and Adluh Stone Ground Grits, Fried Green Tomatoes, Rawl's Farms Collards, Peach Cobbler using South Carolina Peaches and Cromers Boiled Peanuts.

 

Sally Salamander Spotted at Blue Marlin

Sally Salamander is a new interactive walking tour of downtown Columbia featuring numbered, bronze statues of South Carolina's state amphibian, the spotted salamander.  The Blue Marlin is Stop #9 on their current list.
